At Sherwood Public School, our school symbol is the WAVE.  It stands for Welcome All Value Everyone.  The Wave is all encompassing and inclusive of all staff students and members of our school community.

Welcome to Sherwood Public School!

At Sherwood, we strive to be a safe place for students to engage in learning as well as a variety of extra-curricular activities.  The school’s philosophy revolves around several guiding principles.  Promotion of student success and achievement in a safe learning environment is our main focus.  This is reflected in many components of our school improvement plan.  We also strive to focus on the development of the whole child as we actively promote healthy living and a responsible connection to the greater community.  We endeavour to actively involve our diverse community in school activities and direction setting in order to work as partners on behalf of our students.
